Agnieszka Bieńkowska EN

Managing Partner and Head of the VAT practice at Gekko Taxens. Helps clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as an experienced advisor related to business analysis, tax management, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. She has over twenty-five years of experience in supporting Polish and international clients of various size and from various business sectors, including energy & fuel, automotive, FMCG, TSL and real estate. Agnieszka is also recognized as one of the country’s leading experts on VAT in the public sector. She represents public bodies and non-profit organizations in tax disputes, provides support on day-to-day tax questions, as well as advises on investment and restructuring projects, including investments co-founded from the EU funds.

She is consistently present as one of the best VAT advisors in Poland by International Tax Review. 

Author of numerous publications in the field of tax law, speaker at conferences, seminars and training, including trainings and conferences on tax issues at public sector.  

Agnieszka started her professional career in 1996 in the tax department of EY, and continued at the Polish tax advisory firm MDDP where she was promoted to the Partner’s position. Since 2017, she has been the Managing Partner at Gekko Taxens. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. Licensed tax adviser since 1998.
