Katarzyna Jessa EN

Counsel, Barrister and mediator in Gekko Taxens Law Firm. Katarzyna has many years of experience in providing legal advice to entities from the real estate sector. She specializes in both court and out-of-court disputes, with special emphasis on civil, economic and administrative disputes in the area of real estate and construction. She provides clients with comprehensive corporate services, including registration, restructuring and liquidation of business entities.

Her law practice is focused on:

• Proceedings before common courts, administrative courts, building control bodies, architectural and construction administration authorities, and before the National Appeal Chamber
• Real estate transactions
• Construction legal advice (representation of developers, investors, and general contractors)
• Restructuring proceedings with particular emphasis on real estate restructuring
• Legal advice related to mergers and transformations of business entities
• Consulting and negotiations in insolvency or a risk of insolvency

As a mediator of the Mediation Centre at the Supreme Bar Council and the Mediation Centre of the Bar Association in Warsaw, Katarzyna supports clients in negotiating contracts and agreements. She is also a mediator of the Mediation and Arbitration Centre in the Automotive Market Lawyers Association where She works with clients on amicable dispute resolution.

Katarzyna graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin. Under the ERASMUS Programme, She studied at the University of Montpellier in France. Currently, a postgraduate student of Management of Restructuring and Repair of Enterprises at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
