Managing Partner and tax advisor at Gekko Taxens Tax advisory company. She specializes in a whole range of tax problems in the leasing, automotive and FMCG industries. She understands leasing processes and applies the right skills to come up with practical solutions. She was a tax advisor to the Polish Leasing Association for many years. She has knowledge and extensive experience in consulting in the field of CIT, VAT, PIT and excise duty.

Apart from providing ongoing consultancy for the largest Polish leasing, automotive and pharmaceutical companies, Ms Szafarowska also specializes in tax and court-administrative proceedings. She has represented clients both before administrative courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

She is an author of multiple publications on leasing and its tax aspects, including “ABC Leasingu” published by the Polish Leasing Association. The International Tax Review magazine has repeatedly put her on the list of Indirect Tax Leaders.
